Whether it's a custom oil painting, mural or other design work, I follow a clear process to ensure both parties are on the same page throughout.

1. I'll set up a meeting to discuss what you're looking for in the project. I will usually require either reference images (we can arrange to take some images together) or clear inspiration images, as well as any colour palette requests and dimensions. This is the fun bit, where we can really get into creating something special.
2. I will submit a rough sketch/plan and colour palette before starting, allowing the opportunity for feedback and to make any adjustments before the work itself formally begins.

3. Once approved, I will begin painting. Depending on the project, commissions will typically take around 1-2 months to complete, but could be longer on a larger project. Timelines can be discussed in our initial meeting, and I will provide updates throughout the process.​

4. Once the piece is completed, I will share an image to ensure you are happy with the finished work. If we are both happy, I’ll organise for your special piece to be on its way (if necessary)!

As most artists, I require a 50% deposit before beginning work to cover materials, expenses and to insure my labour is covered. The remaining amount is to be paid prior to shipping (where relevant) or after completion of the work.​ Payment can be arranged in instalments.
