Avalon Plant is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Aberystwyth, in Mid Wales. Having completed her BA and MA in Fine Art, her interests lie primarily in combining paintings of interiors with portraiture. She enjoys exploring elements of everyday spaces, investigating the intimacy between figure and space. Her paintings are especially inspired by Dutch Golden Age interiors and French Impressionism. Italian paintings and culture also have a large influence, due to her Italian heritage and upbringing.
